Metaloglobus announced the name of its new head coach

The Metaloglobus Bucharest football team announced, on Wednesday, on the official Facebook page, the appointment of technician Florin Bratu as head coach, left vacant after the separation from Mihai Teja.

Bratu's main objective is to save the team in last place in the Superliga standings from relegation, writes Agerpres.

“Welcome to the Metaloglobus family, Florin Bratu! Our club is pleased to announce the appointment of Florin Bratu as the head coach. Florin Bratu, nicknamed 'Mitraliera' during the time when he performed in the attack of teams such as Dinamo, Rapid, Galatasaray, Nantes or Valenciennes, brings to Metaloglobus a vast amount of tactical knowledge and a winning mentality. The 46-year-old technician, last time on the bench to those from CS Dinamo, he is coming to help us achieve our vital goal of this season: saving from relegation. Good luck, Florin! We will fight to the end!”, states the statement of the Metaloglobus team.

In his coaching career, Florin Bratu coached teams such as CS Tunari, FC Dinamo, the Romanian U18 national team, the Romanian U21 national team, Concordia Chiajna or Karmiotissa (Cyprus).

The last team coached by Bratu was CS Dinamo, in the II League, from which he left on Tuesday.

FC Metaloglobus Bucharest and coach Mihai Teja reached an agreement on Monday regarding the mutual termination of contractual relations.

Metaloglobus was surprisingly promoted to the Super League at the end of last season, after a draw with Poli Iași, being led from the technical bench by Ianis Zicu.

Mihai Teja then took over the team and obtained only 11 points in 29 stages, including victories with FCSB and Farul and draws with Craiova University and CFR Cluj.

In the last stage of the regular season, Metaloglobus will play at home with UTA.
