The government wants to expand the use of “tacit consent”. The project was accepted


This is a bill amending certain acts in order to simplify administrative procedures in matters resolved by administrative decisions or dealt with tacitly. The planned changes are part of the government's deregulation package, prepared in cooperation with the SprawdzaMy initiative.
The project aims to significantly simplify administrative procedures, thanks to which the applications of citizens and entrepreneurs will be considered positively if the office does not issue a decision within the prescribed deadline.

The reform will cover a wide range of issues, including tax, environmental and transport permits, with the aim of eliminating unnecessary delays.
This solution will allow individuals to better plan their investments without having to wait for formal paper documents. At the same time, the administration will retain the right to substantive verification and reject applications that do not meet legal requirements.

The new regulations are to enter into force after a six-month adjustment period from their official announcement.
Part of the deregulation package
In February this year Minister for supervision over the implementation of government policy and chairman of the Government Deregulation Team, Maciej Berek, said that the government received 522 deregulation demands from the social side, and accepted 354 for implementation. He added that 193 changes were adopted by the government, of which 126 have already entered into force at the level of laws and regulations or “through other actions”. He indicated that work is still ongoing in the case of 161 draft changes.

A year ago, at the Warsaw Stock Exchange, Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced the start of work on deregulation, and invited the founder and president of InPost, Rafał Brzoska, to cooperate. The initiative he established, Checked My, started preparing deregulation demands. March 4 last year the government established a deregulation team led by Maciej Berek. The team included: the Minister of Finance, the Minister of Development and Technology and the President of the Government Legislation Center
