Deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Alexei Boykov put on the wanted list

In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Alexei Boykov, a member of the Legislative Assembly from the LDPR, was put on the wanted list. This information appeared in the database of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.
The wanted card states that the deputy is wanted under an article of the Criminal Code, but it is not specified under which one.
Alexey Boykov’s team commented on his wanted notice. It turned out that back in the fall he and his family went on vacation outside of Russia. There he suffered a hypertensive crisis that required treatment. Despite this, the deputy continued to work – he took part in committee meetings remotely, sent requests and received citizens’ appeals.
“Over the past two weeks, Alexey’s health condition has deteriorated sharply. Doctors prescribed hospital treatment and limited air travel. While the deputy was focused on treatment, materials began to be collected against him as part of procedural checks. At the moment, there are no grounds for charges against Alexey, but the investigator decided to put him on the wanted list. At the same time, the reasons for the deputy’s temporary absence are known to the investigation and defense and are confirmed by medical documents,” says the message published on the deputy’s telegram channel.
The team notes that a negative agenda began to form around the name of the deputy in recent months, before the start of the election campaign to form a new composition of the Legislative Assembly of the region and the State Duma of the Russian Federation.
His lawyer will provide further comments on the case. It is clarified that after the medical restrictions are lifted, Boykov intends to personally participate in all necessary procedural actions.
