“The long-awaited announcement has arrived! Sport Club Municipal Râmnicu Vâlcea confirms the transfer of the Norwegian goalkeeper June Cecilie Krogh, a member of the Norwegian national team and one of the most interesting presences of her generation.

June comes to Vâlcea after seasons in which she made a name for herself in Norwegian handball, in which she also gained experience in international competitions, both with Norway's national teams and in the EHF Champions League. The handball player signed a contract valid for the next three seasons.

The athlete was born in Oslo, on December 2, 2003, and at the club level she played for Son HK and Follo HK, and from 2024 she made the step to Storhamar Handball Elite, a team with a constant presence in the Champions League. At the same time, June is part of the Norwegian national team, in 2025 she made the step in the first representative team for the World Championship, a competition that ended with the world title for Norway.

The gold medal won in the seniors is not the only one in her record, she also won a gold medal at the 2022 U20 World Junior Championship.

On his free days he prefers to watch a good movie, series and loves to read. He likes manual activities and board games. When time allows, he spends time at the family cabins where he fishes, kayaks and swims.

June Krogh's move comes less than 24 hours after SCM Râmnicu Vâlcea also announced the transfer of left midfielder Larissa Fernanda Da Silva Nascimento, from Rocasa Gran Canaria. She signed until 2028 with the team from Zăvoi.
