Mihai Teja, absurd details from the Metaloglobus locker room
Mihai Teja revealed that the main person he had problems with was Marius Burcă, the president of the club. The coach believes that the demands imposed by the newly promoted were not in relation to the club's budget. And he relates an incredible example!
Mr. Burcă started to reproach me for some things, as if he was big and strong. As if he led I don't know what great teams. Where was he?!
I woke up at the stadium before the match with Craiova with Toutou who forgot his football boots in Bucharest. I was asked for permission for someone from our club to go around the city, in Craiova, to urgently look for a pair of boots.
Honestly, I didn't even know that person had taken rugby boots by mistake. I asked Toutou if he felt OK in them, and he said yes. What was I going to do if he told me that he felt OK in them?! This is the level at this club and it is sad that in the first league we encounter such incidents.
But, if you give 2,000-2,500 euros salary per month at the first league level, forget that you also give players who are not able to take care to come to matches with boots. I have now left Metaloglubus and I hope those who wanted me to leave will be satisfied
