A persistent cough, foul breath and discomfort forced a man from the Chinese province of Hainan to go to the hospital. There he complained that 3 days earlier an insect had crawled into his nose.
The examination confirmed that a foreign body was lodged in the lower respiratory tract. The doctor performed an operation, but the first attempt failed to remove the winged insect.
It took three attempts to rid the Chinese body of the illegal occupant: due to the fragility of the cockroach’s body, it was necessary to act carefully.
