Manchester City made two important moves in this winter's mercato window, strengthening both the defense through central defender Marc Guehi (25 years old), brought from Crystal Palace for the amount of 20 million pounds, and the offense through the transfer of Antoine Semenyo (26 years old) from Bournemouth, bought for the amount of 64 million pounds.
These transfers proved decisive for Pep Guardiola, who was able to turn Manchester City around and make them a real title contender. The Citizens now have 59 points from 28 games and are just 5 points behind leaders Arsenal, who have already played a game ahead.
