Grupa Azoty has a new management board. Marcin Celejewski is the president of the company

The Supervisory Board of Grupa Azoty has appointed a new management board, entrusting the position of president of the management board to Marcin Celejewski and the function of vice-president of the management board to Małgorza Królak – the group announced in a press release. At the same time, Aleksandra Machowicz-Jaworska, vice-chairman of the Supervisory Board, was delegated to temporarily serve as vice-president of the management board – for a period of up to three months.

The press release indicated that the new management begins the stage of deep restructuring of the Azoty Groupfocused on rebuilding financial stability, maximizing the efficiency of industrial assets and focusing operations on segments with the highest growth potential.

“I treat taking over as president of the management board as an obligation to carry out real restructuring – both in the organizational, operational and financial dimensions. Today, Grupa Azoty requires a decisive change in its operating model, a clear definition of strategic priorities and consistent improvement of efficiency,” said Marcin Celejewski, quoted in the press release.

“We start work immediately, focusing on management integration, strengthening cost discipline, improving operational results and maximizing the value of our assets. At the same time, we continue the dialogue with financing institutions and other stakeholders to develop a lasting, partnership agreement that will stabilize the debt structure and create the basis for capital decisions aimed at the real development of the group,” he added.

Marcin Celejewski is a manager specializing in corporate strategy, effective business transformation and sustainable development. He has extensive international experience in the mobility sectors, air and rail passenger transport, logistics, as well as in the pharmaceutical and health care industries.

from January 1, 2026 to the present, he is the president of the management board at Grupa Azoty Puławy, responsible for sales, product and logistics management at the level of the AGRO Business Segment and the Company, internal control and audit, financial management and controlling processes, human capital management and personnel policy.
