Dinamo – FC Arges, match in Superliga stage #29, was interrupted for a few moments, shortly after the 10th minute. The reason was so that the Muslim players could eat and drink water.

Muslims are currently in Ramadan, and they are not allowed to eat after sunrise and before sunset. Today the sun set at 18:04, and shortly after this time, the game was temporarily borrowed so that the Muslim players could break their fast.

Dinamo – FC Argeș, stopped for the Muslim players to break the Ramadan fast

At the edge of the field, near the Dinamo bench, Maxime Sivis, Mamoudou Karamoko and Eddy Gnahore came to drink some water and eat today's first meal. The three also received some vitamins from the technical staff of Dinamo. It was the first time I witnessed such a moment in Romania. After eating and drinking water, the three footballers returned to football.

The three knelt because Muslim tradition recommends that they sit down, touch the ground when eating with their right knee. Also, tradition says to eat with the right hand.
