The Italian press evaluated the way Cristi Chivu's (45-year-old) Inter played in victory with Genoascore 2-0, in round number 27 of Serie A.

Dimarco and Calhanoglu scored in Inter's victory at the San Siro. It was the 8th victory in a row for Cristi Chivu's team in the domestic competition.

Italian journalists rated Cristi Chivu 7, after Inter – Genoa

The Italians from TMT gave Chivu a 7 after the match with Genoa.

They also wrote: “Inter were mature and controlled the match, which was not clear to happen after the Bodo/Glimt debacle in the Champions League.

They controlled the game, had minimal difficulties, securing victory at the right time. Inspired changes and a solid lead, 13 points ahead of AC Milan”.

Eurosport.it gave Chivu 6.5 and also noted about it: “The play of his team was questionable. But, slowly, he manages to take control of the game, even in the absence of important opportunities.

Three golden points, without Laurato and with a team affected by elimination from the Champions League”.

After 27 matches, those from Inter are in first place in Serie A, with 67 points. AC Milan is the main chaser, with 54, but with one less match played. Genoa, Dan Șucu's team, is 14th, with 27.
