This triumph allowed Daniel Lapin to defend three prestigious light heavyweight titles at once — IBF Intercontinental, WBA Continental and IBO Continental, confirming his status as one of the most promising boxers of our time. After the defeats of such Ukrainian boxers as Denys Berinchyk, Serhiy Derevyanchenko and Petro Ivanov, Daniel Lapin remains the only Ukrainian pro in the light heavyweight division who has not suffered a single loss. Taras Shelestiuk (19–0, 11 KOs) and Yaroslav Khartsyz (7–0, 2 KOs) are on the list of undefeated Ukrainian boxers with him.
