To obtain a category B passenger license, the mandatory driving time with an instructor will be increased from 38 to 42 hours. The theoretical base will also be significantly expanded. During the classes, cadets will be told in more detail about the rules for owners of electric scooters, the use of digital documents and the nuances of providing first aid to victims of an accident.
At the same time, driving schools will be officially allowed to conduct lectures remotely. The progress and presence of students in online classes will be strictly monitored using special software. The traditional full-time format of education will also remain available at the discretion of the educational organization.
Experienced motorists will be able to open new categories using an accelerated program, studying only specialized modules instead of the full basic course. And future bus, truck and taxi drivers now have the right to undergo training directly at transport enterprises.
