How the play-off calculations look

In the final rounds, at least one of the following three scenarios must occur, if FCSB wins its last two matches.

• CFR Cluj to get a maximum of one point from the remaining games, with Farul away and Dinamo at home. With two points, the team from Gruia would also reach 49, a scenario in which they would overtake FCSB in the direct results (2-2 in the round, 4-1 in the return leg);

• U Cluj, assuming that they would lose to FCSB in the last stage, to get a maximum of one point at home, with Oțelul.

Without at least one of these conditions being fulfilled, FCSB would not catch the play-off even if they won the two remaining matches.
