The plane almost landed on an unfinished runway in Chechnya
The flight from Turkey was supposed to land in Grozny, but something went wrong. The pilots began descending onto a closed runway, which is still under construction.
Fortunately, the crew noticed something was wrong at the last moment and were able to go around, almost touching the ground. On the second attempt, the landing went smoothly. No one was hurt.
UPD: Utair claims that today their board landed without a missed approach, and this video was filmed in June 2024, when the crew went around.
