Bogucki: President Nawrocki's relations with President Kaczyński are very good

Relations between President Karol Nawrocki and Jarosław Kaczyński are very good, the PiS president visits the Presidential Palace “quite regularly”, said the head of the Chancellery of the President, Zbigniew Bogucki, on Thursday. He added that he also talks to Kaczyński once every one or two weeks.

On Friday, on Radio Zet, the head of KPRP was asked why he did not want to be PiS's candidate for prime minister. – And who said I didn't want to? – replied Bogucki. When asked if he expressed such a desire, he explained that he “simply talks to those who decide in this regard.”

– I usually have the pleasure of talking to the president (Jarosław Kaczyński) once a week, once every two weeks – added Bogucki. According to him, these talks are very good and instructive because – as he noted – Kaczyński is an “extremely experienced” and “most efficient” politician. He added that the PiS president “led to a double victory with such an absolute majority of votes, so that subsequent presidents (were) elected based on support or directly by appointing the Prime Minister, President Jarosław Kaczyński.”

Bogucki, however, emphasized that he is currently the head of the Chancellery of the President. – I also have such an agreement with the President, in this Chancellery I serve Poland and Poles as best I can – he added.

When asked whether he planned to hold this position until the end of President Nawrocki's term of office, i.e. until 2030, the head of the KPRP replied that “life brings very different solutions.” – I am in contact with the president, with my political environment, i.e. Law and Justice – he emphasized.

Bogucki also noted that the most important thing for him is that the future prime minister “runs Polish affairs.” – I hope it will be the Prime Minister from Law and Justice – he added.

When asked whether President Nawrocki discussed his possible candidacy for the position of prime minister with the president of PiS, he replied that “if he had knowledge about it, he would not share it publicly.”

Bogucki was also asked whether Jarosław Kaczyński visits the Presidential Palace. – The president comes quite regularly and meets with the president – replied the head of the KPRP. He added that these meetings take place as often as the parties consider appropriate. He noted, however, that this happens “often enough that these relations are very good.”

According to PAP information from sources related to PiS, the list of potential party candidates for prime minister in the next parliamentary elections includes 4 people under 50 years of age. According to PAP information, these are Zbigniew Bogucki, Przemysław Czarnek, Anna Krupka and Tobiasz Bocheński. (PAP)
