A pensioner propped up her door with the country's largest amber worth $1 million.
A Romanian pensioner found it in a stream bed, but no one appreciated her find, so she propped the door open for them. Even the robbers who recently visited the pensioner did not take it, as they considered it ordinary trash.
Relatives inherited the 3.5-kilogram stone and learned it was worth about $1 million and was between 38.5 and 70 million years old.
Now this amber is considered a “national treasure” of Romania.
