A resident of Krasnoyarsk will appear in court for selling non-existent quadcopters. This was reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the region.
Police found that in the summer of 2025, a 40-year-old man posted an advertisement on the website for the sale of quadcopters that he did not own. He promised to send the goods within 10-12 business days from the moment the money was credited.
After some time, he was approached by a resident of Kyzyl who wanted to buy two devices for 290 thousand rubles. The buyer said that he would come to Krasnoyarsk on work issues and pick up the order.
“During the correspondence, the attacker said that it was necessary to make an advance payment of 30% of the total amount. The victim agreed and transferred 92,200 rubles to the specified account, which the accused disposed of at his own discretion. A few days later, the accused reported that he had the goods, after which, under various pretexts, he began to avoid communication with the customer, and then turned off the phone,” the regional police said.
Based on this fact, a criminal case was initiated under Part 2 of Art. 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Fraud”. During the investigation, the injured man was compensated for damages in full. The accused was given a preventive measure in the form of a written undertaking not to leave the place and proper behavior.
