Closed runway at Chopin Airport. The disruptions will last until Wednesday

As emphasized, these actions are aimed at “maintaining the highest level of infrastructure security“.
Changing aircraft routes
Chopin Airport, the largest airport in Poland, normally handles air traffic using two runways. Road No. 1 (direction 11-29) runs on the Ursus-Ursynów axis, while road No. 3 (direction 15-33) serves traffic on the Bemowo-Włochy-Piaseczno route.
Due to the closure of road no. 1, all take-offs and landings currently take place on road no. 3. This means that planes can be more visible and audible to residents of towns such as Piaseczno, Józefosław, Lesznowola, Konstancin-Jeziorna, Góra Kalwaria or Tarczyn.
