In Lviv, there was a mass poisoning in a children's amusement park, at least 15 people were hospitalized


During Sunday and Monday (February 22–23), 15 people were hospitalized at the Lviv Regional Infectious Diseases Hospital, 11 of them were children. All patients have nausea, repeated vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea – symptoms of acute intestinal infection. The victims are in moderate condition.

According to the prosecutor's office, 21 people sought medical help, 18 of them were children.



The Center for Disease Prevention noted that all patients ate at the same establishment between February 18 and February 21.


We are talking about the family entertainment center Dragon Park. The establishment's press service reported on Facebook that after the incident, the services carried out a number of checks, in particular, they took samples of dishes, water, surface washes, checked the staff's medical records and took tests from workers. Until March 1, the entertainment center stopped working.


The police informed that investigators opened criminal proceedings for violation of sanitary rules and norms for the prevention of infectious diseases and mass poisonings (Part 1 of Article 325 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
