Never seen before! They turned them into “climbers”: dangerous technical solutions at Slobozia

Before the start, attention was drawn to the cabins for the TV operators, located extremely high, at over 3 meters high, the road to them being quite complicated and at the same time dangerous.

The modernization of the stadium in Slobozia entered a spectacular new stage this evening: the first match played at night. The event marks not only an important step for the club and supporters, but also the appearance of unusual technical solutions, which have already attracted the attention of those around the football phenomenon.

The arena on which Unirea Slobozia plays has gone through an extensive modernization process, and the requirements for TV transmission have generated a real logistical “madness”.

In order for the match to be broadcast in professional conditions, with the standard angles required by televisions, two cameras at the center of the field and two positioned at the 16-meter lines of each box, the organizers had to improvise special filming solutions.

Thus appeared the cabins over three meters high, narrow metal constructions, raised above the usual level of the stands. Access to them is via long ladders, with dozens of steps, which the operators have to climb while carrying tens of thousands of euros worth of equipment behind them.

The pre-game footage shows how demanding the mission is: tight spaces, high platforms and a lot of attention at every step. All on metal scaffolding!

Some of these booths are placed at a height comparable to the level of the sports hall in the vicinity of the stadium, which provides good angles for filming, but also a serious dose of adrenaline for those who work up there.
