“We expect good games for everyone, and in the case of Daniel Paraschiv to score. I'm happy for him, I'm happy that we won. I'm happy that Borza ended up scoring. This is a good sign for us.
Nothing is certain, so we can consider that we forced Aioani. I also had problems with Dejan Iliev. He had problems too. It was perfect that he held on and had a good match.
There are still many matches. We have players who have just arrived. We hope to integrate them. Paraschiv needed this goal in this match, I'm happy for him. Moruțan, of course, had many achievements in the game.
It was important for us to win. I played with a good team. I knew it would leave spaces, that's why I closed the center. I knew that if they don't play with a striker there they can't create superiority in midfield. We were able to surprise them. I had achievements. It is important to score. And in Constanța we had the first chances, but we didn't manage to score.
I would like my team to control the match, but in the end the result and the efficiency you have in the game matters a lot”, said Costel Gâlcă in the flash interview at Fotbal Club.

At the press conference, Constantin Gâlcă continued to praise his players, but he also spoke about Mircea Lucescu's decision to sit on the bench for the tie with Turkey.
“I want to congratulate my players for their attitude. We were efficient in front of the goal, we had a few chances. We knew we were meeting a team that has very good possession. It was the introduction of Soro, they played without a peak, they wanted to attract us, to have superiority in midfield.
We had achievements through Moruțan, Paraschiv, Vulturar, they all played perfectly. There have been poor results in recent times, we looked very bad in Constanța, but even there, if we changed a little, maybe the game was different. We lost that defensive balance. I'm happy for the players and the fans.
In the end, it's the result, the efficiency in the game, not the possession that matters. I was concerned about the state of the field, it was a difficult one and we needed players who could make a difference, to be in very good physical shape.
I am glad that Mr. Lucescu will continue on the bench of the national team, he knows the players and I hope we have a good match against Turkey. There must be fair play. Respect must exist, it is a sport, so that we can stay, have achievements in this sense. Everyone supports the team, but with respect”, concluded Gâlcă.
