The last time the Leader gas station in Grozny was inspected was three years ago. Inspectors found 9 gross violations. Specifically:
— Automotive drain stations did not meet industrial safety requirements;
— The pumps were not equipped with automatic gas control devices,
— Gas sensors were not installed.
And this is only a small part of the list.
The footage shows the moment of the explosion from a different angle. Dozens of local residents stood near the shops and looked at the burning gas station, then it exploded – the shock wave threw away the building's debris and cylinders. One of them hit a woman with a child.
