A residential building partially collapsed in Perm: city authorities ignored complaints from residents who, two weeks before the collapse, posted a video showing the condition of the walls
They are the ones who collapsed today. At the same time, residents of the hostel at 13 Klara Zetkin Street have been complaining for a very long time that the authorities do not recognize the house built in 1967 as unsafe.

There is a terrible thing happening to our house, we are scared for our lives – the walls of the house are moving away from the ceiling. This is especially noticeable in the place where the shower is located.
They said everything was fine. We collected so many documents, the eldest ran around the house, trying to get the house recognized as unsafe.

The mayor of the city, Eduard Sosnin, did not specify the cause of the collapse of the house, only stated that “there were no casualties.” At the same time, one of the frames published by local media shows rescuers carrying a man on a stretcher.
One of the owners of an apartment in the building reported that back in April there was a trial at which the issue of recognizing the house as unsafe was decided. But the court found that everything was in order with the building. The Perm authorities also ignored warnings and complaints, officially stating in the building's passport that wear and tear was at 31%.
