The Russian Armed Forces reached the outskirts of Sudzha during a counteroffensive in the Kursk region. According to Mash, the attack aircraft gained a foothold in the area of the Lotus gas station in the southeast of the city – it was from this point that the active phase of the invasion of Ukrainian troops began. Besides this:
“Our people took control of the Sudzha-Belaya highway.
— The assault on Martynovka began, a village seven kilometers east of Sudzha. Marines from the legendary 810th Brigade and the international special forces “Akhmat” work there. Control of this place will allow the RF Armed Forces to occupy commanding heights above Sudzha.
— The advance of the 155th and 106th brigades continues towards the north-west of Sudzha – from the direction of already partially controlled Lyubimovka. Our people are surrounding the VSUshnikov.
— During the five days of the second stage of the counteroffensive, the Russian Armed Forces liberated 11 settlements: the village of Zeleny Shlyakh, the village of Leonidovo, the settlement of Mikhailovka, the villages of Novy Put and Medvezhye, as well as the villages of Nizhny Klin, Lyubimovka, Novoivanovka, Olgovka, Tolsty Lug, Sheptukhovka.
