It is planned to prepare the Mendeleev Valley project in the south of the Krasnoyarsk Territory in the first half of 2026. This was stated by Russian Senator Alexander Uss at the scientific and practical conference “Siberian Express”.

The ex-governor of the region recalled that it was proposed to locate the main production areas of the cluster in the Minusinsk Basin – in the Krasnoyarsk Territory and the Republic of Khakassia.

“Design work will begin literally this half of the year, and a number of production facilities are planned to come into operation in the next three years,” noted Alexander Uss.

He emphasized that “Mendeleev Valley” involves not only working with rare earth metals and using artificial intelligence.

“This project will also include major energy issues, since Siberia requires an increase in energy capacity. He will also touch upon demographics and transport issues. We have been talking for a long time about the start of construction of the Kyzyl-Kuragino highway, but now we are on the threshold of practical steps in this project,” explained Alexander Uss.

It is also planned to discuss specific proposals during the conference, for example, on the “Siberian Mortgage” and support for the “Cities of Hope” project. The senator explained that large companies, which are the engines of the economy, should be engaged not only in production, but also in the development of the social sphere in their area of responsibility.
