Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on the autumn draft of citizens of the Russian Federation for military service. The document is published on the official portal of legal information.
According to the decree, the call will be held with October 1 to December 31, 2025. 135 thousand people aged 18 to 30 years will be called into the army.
On September 22, Deputy Head of the Main Organizational and Mobilization Administration of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces, Vice Admiral Vladimir Tsimlyansky, said that the draftees within the framework of the autumn call will be sent to deployment points for the service only in Russia and will not be suitable in a special military operation.
He also added that the autumn draft campaign will be carried out using a single register of military accounting. Paper agendes will also be used to notify citizens during the call.
Recall that in 2024, during an autumn drafted, 133 thousand people were drafted into the army. During the spring call of 2025, 160 thousand people were sent to serve.
