
On February 20, the author of the Ukrainian culinary YouTube blog Liliya Tsvit told how to cook buckwheat cakes in the oven.
“No frying, no extra fat, quick and easy to prepare. An ideal recipe for those who choose a healthy diet, a balanced menu and light dietary dishes,” the blogger announced. “This is a tasty and healthy option for lunch or dinner for the whole family.”
Products for 12 buckwheat
- 500 g minced pork;
- 200 g raw buckwheat;
- one onion;
- one teaspoon of salt;
- a pinch of pepper;
- one egg;
- one teaspoon of smoked paprika;
- one teaspoon of dry garlic;
- 30 g breadcrumbs;
- 500 ml tomato juice;
- green onions.
Preparation
- Add grated onion to the minced pork. Salt, pepper and mix everything well.
- Add boiled chilled buckwheat. Stir.
- Add egg, paprika and dry garlic. Mix everything thoroughly.
- Form the buckwheat into a round shape the size of a small apple.
- Place them tightly together in a baking dish. Pour in tomato juice.
- Bake in an oven preheated to 180°C for 35 minutes until they brown.
According to Tsvit, buckwheat according to this recipe are soft, juicy, tender and aromatic.
