The man sailed on the missing boat in the Sea of Okhotsk for more than two months and survived. They had been searching for him and his two companions by helicopter since the beginning of August. During this time, the brother and a 16-year-old teenager died. But he doesn’t.
The company, consisting of 49-year-old Sergei Pichugin, his 46-year-old brother Mikhail and 15-year-old son Ilya, set off from the Khabarovsk Territory to Sakhalin on August 9. We wanted to get on a catamaran boat “Baykat 470” – from Cape Perovsky to the city of Okha. Only about 150 km, which should have taken several hours. But three days later they still haven’t gotten in touch.
They were probably caught by a strong storm along the way. So we had to drift. Today, the boat was spotted by fishermen near the village of Ust-Khairyuzovo, Kamchatka Territory (almost 1k km from Okha). And they helped, the moment is on video. 46-year-old Mikhail Pichugin survived. He is in very serious condition and is being taken to Magadan.
