Five Ukrainian collaborators taken prisoner will serve 15 years in prison


Convicted residents of Donetsk, Makeyevka, Lugansk region and occupied Crimea.

At various times, they voluntarily joined the units of the invaders, participated in hostilities, mining the area and building fortifications. The defense forces took them prisoner in different sectors of the front in Ukraine and the Kursk region of the Russian Federation.

Based on materials from the SBU, the court found them guilty under two articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – Parts 1, 2 of Art. 111 (high treason committed under martial law) and Part 7 of Art. 111-1 (collaboration activities).
