Employees of the Boguchanskaya HPP successfully competed in sports competitions in the Kezhemsky district

January and February 2026 became a time of intense starts and well-deserved awards for the athletes of the Boguchanskaya HPP. Teams of power engineers took an active part in all key competitions of the Kezhemsky Municipal District, confirming the high level of sports training and team spirit.

During the year, the athletes plan to perform at the festival stages of the All-Russian Physical Culture and Sports Complex “Ready for Labor and Defense” and the Spartakiad of the RusHydro group.

The first award in the 2026 sports season was received at the checkers tournament by engineer Anastasia Kutsenova – she took 3rd place among women. The success was consolidated by the station's women's volleyball team, which also won bronze. A special achievement was the title of “Best Player of the Tournament,” which rightfully went to metrology engineer Oksana Volchek.

Two “golds”, two “bronzes” and a “silver” – this set of awards brought the athletes of the Boguchanskaya HPP a table tennis tournament dedicated to the memory of coach Yu.T. Karpusheva. In competition with 11 teams and dozens of experienced opponents, the GES team took 3rd overall team place.

The personal results of the power engineers are impressive: in the veteran category among men, engineer Stanislav Kochegarov won gold, and driver Ramis Abushakhmanov took 3rd place. Among women, Oksana Volchek confirmed her leadership by taking the gold medal, and the “silver” of the tournament went to specialist Marina Baus.

On the eve of Defender of the Fatherland Day, the head of the Operations Service, Denis Kutsenov, successfully competed in the “Modern Heroes” competition in the individual competition. Showing endurance and skill, he became the winner of one of the stages and took 2nd place in the final standings of the tournament.

Every year, workers at the Boguchanskaya HPP master new sports, and new sports stars appear in the team. In 2025, air rifle shooting competitions were held for the first time, and in 2026, power engineers are studying the rules of floor curling.

In January, at the district tournament, representatives of the station took fourth place, but in the near future the first corporate tournament will be held among men's teams of the Boguchanskaya HPP units. He will write the first names in the history of the station’s sports achievements in this unusual discipline, which I call “chess on ice.”

The management and staff of Boguchanskaya HPP JSC pay constant attention to the development of sports. The station's budget annually allocates funds for sports and recreational activities.

Station employees and their families actively participate in city and regional competitions and represent the Kezhemsky district at tournaments of various levels. In 2025, power engineers became winners of the first regional swimming tournament, the XXXVI Kodinsky ski marathon, the RusHydro Spartakiad in three sports and other competitions.

In November and December, the Boguchanskaya HPP organized a Spartakiad in several sports, which united many residents of the Kezhemsky district. In the most prestigious team competition of the Spartakiad, the Boguchanskaya HPP team took 1st place.
