Dmitry Portnyagin was cleared of debt for non-payment of 40.6 million rubles in taxes. The total amount in his case: 124 million rubles.
Now a criminal case has been opened against Portnyagin for tax evasion and money laundering, a preventive measure: a ban on certain actions. Since September 2023, the blogger has been suing the Federal Tax Service of Naro-Fominsk, Moscow Region. He indicated that he paid off the bulk of the debt in August 2022. Now the court has sided with him.
So, the blogger paid 63 million rubles himself, and disputed another 40.6 million.
In April, Dmitry was detained in the Northern Military District zone. The investigation believed that the transformer and his wife divided the business into different individual entrepreneurs/companies in order to reduce the amount of taxes. In October, Portnyagin was released from house arrest. He stated that he gave the state all 124 million rubles.
