Zelensky on Orban: he forgot the meaning of the word shame

The Ukrainian president thanked Viktor Orban in a perverse way, claiming that the Hungarian leader motivates everyone in Europe to become better than himself.

— In his own way, he pushes all of us in Europe to be better. It's better, if only so that we never become like him – a person who seems to forget the meaning of the word shame – said Zelensky, quoted by “Ukrainskaya Pravda”.

Zelensky's speech in Munich was preceded by an exchange of comments between him and Orban. Earlier, the Ukrainian president attacked the Hungarian prime minister, accusing him of thinking “about how to enlarge his belly, and not about how to increase his army to stop Russian tanks that may return to the streets of Budapest.” Orban responded to this by posting a statement on X, in which he once again emphasized that Ukraine “cannot become a member of the European Union.” He also referred to personal remarks made by Zelensky.

“This debate is not about me and it is not about you. It is about the future of Hungary, Ukraine and Europe,” Orban wrote on X.
