According to the Bulgarian Novinte agency, the leader of this association, Georgi Georgiev, informed the Ministry of Interior that in a mountain house in the Vitosha massif, several kilometers west of the capital of Bulgaria, there are armed people wearing uniforms and insignia indicating that they belong to a formation of Russian mercenaries.

The photos presented by the Bulgarian agency show a large Russian flag hanging from a wooden terrace and several off-road vehicles.

According to Georgiev, the building is heavily guarded, from which he concluded that the place may be used for terrorist activities. According to him, the very existence of such a facility on the territory of a NATO country is a direct threat to Bulgaria's security.

In material published on social media platforms, BOEC suggested that some of the mercenaries staying in Kładnica may be current or former employees of the local security services, which, according to the association's leader, may explain why the Bulgarian services have not yet taken any action, despite the official notification.

Established in May 2014, the mercenary army, known as the Wagner Group, has conducted military operations around the world on behalf of the Russian government, including in Ukraine, Syria and Africa, where it still has a presence, including in the Central African Republic, despite the official replacement of this formation by the African Corps, which is closely linked to the Kremlin.
