Ukrainian forces hit a Russian landing craft in Crimea. Attacks also on a radar and an ammunition depot

Ukraine's armed forces announced that they had successfully hit a Russian BK-16 landing craft in occupied Crimea, as well as other military targets in Moscow-controlled territories.

According to the General Staff of the Ukrainian army, the attack took place on February 12, in the area of Novoozerne, in Crimea. The target was a BK-16 fast landing craft — a type of craft used for coastal operations and troop transport.
On the same day, Ukrainian forces also reportedly hit the RSP-10 radar station in Crimea, as well as a Russian military communications hub in the occupied part of the Zaporozhye region.
A day later, on February 13, Ukraine announced a new attack on a Russian ammunition depot located near the town of Novoeokonomichne in the Donetsk region, territory controlled by Russian forces.
“The Defense Forces of Ukraine will systematically continue measures aimed at weakening the combat potential of the Russian aggressor,” the General Staff said.
Crimea has been under Russian occupation since 2014, after its annexation was deemed illegal by the international community. Since the start of the full-scale invasion in 2022, Kiev has stepped up strikes on military infrastructure on the peninsula and other occupied territories, targeting in particular ammunition depots, command centers, radar systems and logistics facilities.
The recent attacks point to an ongoing strategy by Kiev to erode Russian military capacity behind the front lines, paralleling the fighting in eastern and southern Ukraine.
