More than 50 people were poisoned at a veterans' social center after a lunch of meatballs, pork chops, fish and vegetable salad. The food was supplied from the MU-MU restaurant chain; it was the Fastland supply company.
Products from the detained supplier are still available for purchase in large grocery stores: sandwiches with meat and fish at Azbuka Vkusa, vinaigrette and rassolnik with chicken at Vkusville.
The Investigative Committee is conducting an investigation. The CEO of the company faces up to 6 years in prison. Rospotrebnadzor took product samples.
