A Russian died after falling into a 10-meter karst sinkhole in the Irkutsk region
The driver of the combine was driving in a field near the village of Russky Melkhituy. At some point, the ground gave way under the car, and it fell into a depression 10 meters deep.
The man died. Presumably, the resulting hole is a karst funnel. They arise due to soil erosion.
