Removed from FCSB's first 11 before they even came out to warm up!

Before the University of Craiova – FCSBthe derby of the last stage of the Betano Romanian Cup groups, Mihai Toma, the announced starting footballer, was withdrawn from the starting team.

In his place, Octavian Popescu was sent. And central defender Andrei Dăncuș was added to the bench.

Mihai Toma accused medical problems before going out for the warm-up, that was the first information coming from Bănie.

Toma would have been the second “Under 21” player used in the starting formula of the champion, a rule imposed in the Romanian Cup, which obliges the use of such a player for the entire duration of the game. Also, goalkeeper Matei Popa, 18 years old, remains a standard player, having started in the last Super League games.

Mihai Toma last entered the field in the championship in the 86th minute of the duel won with Oțelul, score 4-1. In the previous two matches, the midfielder was a reserve.
