LOT boasts of its results. “They are a reason to be proud”

She recalled that deliveries of Boeing 737 MAX-8 began at the turn of the year; 13 such machines will start serving the PLL LOT network by mid-2026. In the last quarter of this year the long-haul fleet will be supplemented with two Boeing 787-8 aircraft. At the end of 2025, the carrier began work on putting Airbus A220 aircraft into servicewhich are ultimately to constitute the core of the regional fleet.

Thanks to this, by the end of the decade, LOT will have one of the youngest fleets in Europe – said the president of PLL LOT, Michał Fijoł, quoted in the press release. In 2024, 10.7 million passengers used the company's services.
LOT launches new routes. “Long-awaited directions”
In 2025, LOT launched connections to Lisbon, Thessaloniki, Reykjavik, Marrakech, Stavanger, Rovaniemi, Malta, Paris-Orly from Krakow and Barcelona from Radom. At the same time the company announced 15 more routes, the launch of which is scheduled for this year.

“Thanks to the acquired two Boeing 787-8s, it will be possible to launch long-awaited long-haul destinations – a connection to San Francisco will launch in May, and to Bangkok at the end of the year. In addition, the carrier has already launched connections to Malaga and connected Gdańsk with Istanbul. Bologna, Porto, Heraklion, Palma de Mallorca and Almaty will soon appear in the route network” – said the carrier. He added that as part of further development in regional airports, PLL LOT planes will fly from Krakow to Madrid, Barcelona and Rome, and from Gdańsk to Istanbul, Brussels, Oslo and Bergen.
LOT recalled that it has made available to its passengers modernized business lounges in Warsaw, the interiors of which are consistent with the direction initiated in the LOT Business Lounge in Chicago.
PLL LOT is expanding its fleet
LOT Polish Airlines is the 11th oldest airline in the world; have been operating since 1929. They offer direct long-distance cruises to ports in the United States, Canada, India, Japan and South Korea. The company also operates direct flights to many European capitals.

Some of the planes currently operated by PLL LOT are Boeings: six B737-800s and 19 B737 MAX machines, as well as 15 Dreamliners – eight B787-8 and seven B787-9. The Polish carrier also flies, among others: Embraer aircraft, including two at the government's disposal.
In mid-June last year LOT and Airbus signed an agreement in Paris, according to which Airbus will provide the company with A220 aircraft. The order includes the delivery of 40 A220 machines in two versions: -100 and -300 in the years 2027-2031 and an option to purchase another 44 aircraft. LOT is buying Airbus planes for the first time in history. The value of the entire agreement is approximately USD 9 billion.

The main shareholder of PLL LOT is the State Treasury, which holds 69.3%. shares, and the second shareholder (30.7%) is Polska Grupa Lotnicza, 100% owned by to the State Treasury.
