Investigators came to the Moscow apartment of the wife of ex-mayor of Sochi Alexei Kopaygorodsky, where they had previously found 47 million rubles. Previously, security forces detained Yanina Kopaygorodskaya in her husband’s case of embezzlement on an especially large scale. Yesterday, about 100 million in credit accounts were seized from her.
Yanina Kopaygorodskaya’s lawyer stated that they asked the court not to block the funds, otherwise interest on the loans would accrue every day – more than 60 thousand rubles. But it didn't help.
