Dumbrăvița – FC Argesa match played in Mioveni in the last round of group A of the Betano Romanian Cup, was played on a snow of over 5 centimeters.

About an hour before the start of the game, it was snowing like a fairy tale in Mioveni. The organizers tried to clear the field, but only partially succeeded. After they had cleared one part of the field, the snow would wipe away their work in just a few minutes.

With the start of the game, after the shovels stopped removing the snow from the turf, the field was gently covered back. It snowed heavily, so that the grass could not be seen at all after a few minutes of the start of the game.

The more the match progressed, the worse the conditions were. The players of the two formations were visibly affected by the snow on the field. They hardly managed to pass or control the ball, with the ball sometimes stopping suddenly.

Long range shots at grass level were automatically passes to the goalkeeper and the players tried their best to pick the ball up off the ground.

The images provided by the TV cameras captured some unique shots, the players' boots practically sinking into the snow. However, the match was played as planned. In the 22nd minute, the game was briefly interrupted to partially clear the field. Specifically, the hosts shoveled the snow off the pitch lines.

Vlad Baban was the “central” of the Dumbrăvița – Argeş party. Nicolae Mociorniță and Gabriel Neagu were at the two touches. Although Dumbrăvița was the host, the match was played in Mioveni, where FC Argeș plays on its own ground. The team from Timiș was in the same situation in the match with Rapid. He played in Giulesti, even though it was the home team.
