
If you dream of zucchini that doesn’t turn yellow on the bush, doesn’t rot from rain, and produces a satisfying harvest even with minimal care, pay attention to these proven varieties. They grow well in open ground, do not require frequent watering and produce a stable harvest from June until frost.
1. Tsukesha
The fruits are cylindrical, dark green with a marble pattern, 15–20 cm long. The pulp is tender, without bitterness, ideal for caviar, stews and baby purees. Productivity up to 8–9 kg per bush. It ripens within 45–50 days after germination and bears fruit in waves until September.
2. White-fruited
Early ripening, unpretentious, with snow-white pulp and thin skin. The fruits can be harvested as early as 8–10 cm; they are sweet, juicy, perfectly fried and marinated whole. Resistant to temperature changes and excess moisture. From one bush it is easy to collect 7–8 kg per season.
3. Gribovsky 37
Mid-season, but a real record holder for keeping quality and yield. The fruits are large, light green, with dense but tender pulp. Ideal for freezing, caviar and casseroles. Yields up to 10 kg per bush even on poor soils. It tolerates cool summers well and is not afraid of short-term drought.
These varieties do not require cultivation, rarely suffer from powdery mildew and grow well even in an ordinary garden bed without shelter. Simply plant seedlings or seeds, water every 3-4 days and harvest every 2-3 days. While the neighbors are complaining about empty flowers or rot, you will already be filling the freezer with squash caviar and rolling up the fifteenth jar of lecho.
