Last year, Charles III stripped his younger brother of his royal titles and forced him to leave Windsor.
“It is for Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor to answer the specific allegations. But if Thames Valley Police (who cover the Windsor estate) ask us to, we are prepared to support it.”Buckingham emphasizes in the press release, writes News.ro.
The police announced on Monday that “EXAMINED” information according to which Andrew sent confidential reports to Jeffrey Epstein in 2010, when he was special emissary in charge of International Trade.
The Prince and Princess of Wales were “deeply concerned” by recent revelations about the Jeffrey Epstein scandal. This is the first time that William and Kate have publicly expressed their views on the crisis that has engulfed the monarchy and Westminster, and their thoughts “remain focused on the victims.”
The Epstein scandal came back into the public eye after US authorities released millions of documents, sparking new allegations against Prince Andrew.
According to them, Andrew would have been involved in sexual relations arranged by Epstein and would have shared confidential information as a British trade envoy. There are also reports of the former prince's involvement in incidents with minors, contradicted by him, but supported by victims and documents associated with Epstein.
Andrew has left the Royal Lodge and now lives on the Sandringham estate, owned by King Charles.
