Besiktas and Alanyaspor provided the match of the stage in the Turkish championship! The two teams ended in a tie, score 2-2. Ianis Hagi (27 years old) started and played 62 minutes for Alanya. Umit Akdag (22 years old), Romania's U21 stopper, was integral.
The match took place right in the arena where Mircea Lucescu's students will force qualification for the World Championship, in March, against Turkey.
The guests started the match with a lot of courage, and Guven Yalcin became the nightmare of the “eagles”. The defender stepped up excellently and provided the decisive assist for the 2-0 goal.
Besiktas reacted after half an hour. Akdag was also in the foreground, but this time negatively: he fouled Hyeon-Gyu Oh in the box, and Orkun Kokcu certainly converted the penalty in the 32nd minute.
The away coach decided to take Ianis off the field in the 62nd minute, shortly after Besiktas had equalized through Hyeon-Gyu Oh (54th minute). Meschack Elia replaced the Romanian.
This 2-2 leaves Besiktas in 5th place with 37 points, far from the top positions, while Alanyaspor remain in the middle of the table (10th place, 23 points). For Ianis and Alanya, the duel at home with Konyaspor follows on February 14.
