A Krasnoyarsk woman stole a smartphone from a pensioner at the market and only realized at home that she would not be able to use it

In Krasnoyarsk, police officers returned a stolen smartphone to a pensioner.
An 85-year-old resident of the Sverdlovsk region contacted the duty station with a statement about the theft of a cell phone. She said that she was shopping at one of the city's markets, and when she arrived home, she did not find her gadget in her backpack. A criminal case was initiated under Art. “Theft”.
Law enforcement officers quickly established that the phone was appropriated by a 41-year-old woman from Krasnoyarsk. The suspect planned to use the gadget, but was unable to. She told investigators that she found the smartphone on the street and decided to keep it for herself.

A smartphone worth 19 thousand rubles was seized and returned to its rightful owner. The pensioner thanked the police for their work and said that until recently she had not lost hope that the stolen gadget would be returned.
