Kristina Orbakaite, following her mother, refused New Year's corporate events in Russia. Reasons: political situation, cancellations and not very warm welcome at home.
According to Mash, the artist is going to spend the winter in sunny California and will stay there at least until the end of January. Christina was invited to work in Russia, but for the first time in a long time she did not agree. She says that money doesn’t buy happiness, and she’s not ready yet, and it’s also unpleasant that concerts were often cancelled. Plus, she is afraid of hate and icy condemnation, as was the case when she came to Russia.
At the same time, Orbakaite tried to return home more than once – after all, in the States she filled empty halls. Last year, the artist cut 4.5 million wooden ones from each corporation and left for the USA. In this case, Christina even agreed to perform at the Kremlin Palace for free, but refused at the last moment.
