The import of electricity to Ukraine in August increased by 2.3 times.
This made it possible not to turn off the industry due to heat. The increase in imports became possible thanks to the timely decision of the NCRECP.
The regulator relaxed price restrictions, which allowed for the import of larger amounts of electricity during evening peak consumption periods.
The increase in imports also did not lead to a sharp increase in prices for industry in the first weeks of August.
