The Romanian international Florin Andone (32 years old) dismissed Alvaro Cervera (60 years old), a technician with whom he worked in Cadiz, in LaLiga 2021-2022.

“I went into a strange dressing room with a horrible technician, the worst coach I've ever had, El Gafa. I was very sick. They labeled me in all kinds of ways there”, said the Romanian.
Florin Andone on the collaboration with Alvaro Cervera: “Don't accept me, challenge me”
Florin Andone believes that Alvaro Cervera simply couldn't stand him: “I hardly played at all, I couldn't even go to training with the car I had then. There were things that had never happened to me before, for the coach himself to tell me that I couldn't come to training with that car…”.

The two met again in the 2022 – 2023 season, at a match between Las Palmas, where Andone had transferred, and Oviedo, where Cervera was now coaching. “I didn't say hello to him. He's a bad man, nobody likes him, not even his mother. He's a bad person and I don't care to say that.
He was very radical, not only with me, but with anyone who came his way, because that's just the way he is. He didn't like me at all, he didn't accept me, he defied me. I didn't understand it then and I don't understand it now,” the 32-year-old striker confessed.
Florin Andone on Clarence Seedorf: “As a coach, a disaster, a disaster!”
Previously, Andone had criticized another coach, former Dutch international great Clarence Seedorf. They worked together at Deportivo La Coruna in the first half of 2018, but the collaboration was also an unhappy one.
“As a player, Seedorf was world class. As a coach, a disaster, a disaster! He took over the team at one, two or three relegation points and took it to 16. A disaster!
He relegated the team with Lucas Perez, who was coming from Arsenal, Adrian Lopez from Atletico Madrid, Colak and me, who was at the peak of my career… We had a European Cup team and we were relegated to the second division. A season disaster!
The disaster started from above, from the mess they made, the destruction they caused, and with Seedorf they put a lid on it. They brought in a coach from Italy who didn't know any of the players on the team.
