A ten-ruble banknote with an image of the Paraskeva Pyatnitsa Chapel in Krasnoyarsk ended up in South Korean Vogue.
The banknote was spotted in a photo with a selection of cosmetics on Instagram* of a fashion magazine. Next to her was a 50 ruble banknote, as well as a whole scattering of coins from different countries, for example, the USA and Japan.
The post accompanying the footage talks about the “Korean culture fever” that has taken over the world. The promotional campaign demonstrates how cosmetics from South Korea ended up in people from different countries. For this metaphor, the authors of the photographs used a selection of products from different brands with a variety of personal items packed in bags.
Now there are more than 150 comments under the post, almost all of them in Russian. In them, users from Russia are surprised by the unexpected appearance of the “ten”:
“The Chervonets is lying around.”
“Hehe, 60 rubles.” to the minibus.”
“My little girl went to Korea for beauty shopping.”
Let us remind you that the legendary views of Krasnoyarsk will soon disappear from the banknote. The Bank of Russia is preparing a new design for the “tens”, which will be dedicated to the Siberian Federal District. It is known that Novosibirsk will be on the front side.
On banknotes from 1997-2004 you can see the Communal Bridge, the Paraskeva Pyatnitsa Chapel and the Krasnoyarsk Hydroelectric Power Station. They even installed it in the city monument “ten”.
