The benefits of Brussels sprouts are legendary! But, you must admit, it is rarely possible to feed your family with this vegetable. This cabbage has a specific bitter taste that not everyone likes. It is especially difficult to explain the benefits of Brussels sprouts to modern children, who only hold fast food in high esteem.
Meanwhile, there is a very simple recipe for cooking Brussels sprouts that even the smallest eaters will appreciate. The whole secret is in adding honey. This product will soften the bitterness and make the cabbage softer, more tender, and add pleasant honey notes.
Ingredients:
- Brussels sprouts – 680 g;
- vegetable oil – 2 tbsp. l.;
- balsamic vinegar – 2 tbsp. l.;
- honey – 2 tsp;
- salt – 1 tsp;
- ground black pepper – 1 tsp.
