The actor from “Capercaillie” Nikolai Trifilov tried to withdraw 5.8 million rubles for scammers for two days in a row. Bank employees stopped him, but Trifilov was persistent. And on the third attempt, he lost all his money.
First, the criminals called on behalf of the Russian Post (this is their new scheme) and reported about a registered letter, which must be received in electronic or paper form. And to “confirm” your identity, call the code from the SMS. This is how the scammers hacked government services, but Trifilov reacted in time and changed the password at the MFC. The next day my wife answered the phone and the divorce did not work out. Then the actor himself – and again it didn’t work out.
Three days later there was another call, but from the FSB. Connections with Ukraine, bank hacking, donations to the Armed Forces of Ukraine and a criminal case. Solution: transfer money to a “safe account”. The artist believed. He went to the bank, but there they recognized him and saved him from the scammers. The next day – to another branch, where they again did not allow me to withdraw money. And only at the third point they gave out cash. Then accounts in other banks for small things (they also dissuaded them there) and now Trefilov gives the money into the hands of an “FSB officer.” Total: minus 5 million 770k rubles and a statement to the police.
